Time Escape - 20th Anniversary 💿🎂www.slowtide.com/time-escape/Wow, has it really been 20 years since I put out my first little 4-Track-Demo-CD in 2001? Time flies, there's no... escape, I guess? 😮It was recorded with little to no equipment, but filled with the heart of an introverted yet striving teenager in his final days of school trying to make sense of life and love. This actually marked the first time I recorded my voice on my small multitrack-recorder for the public ear to hear, since the album London from 1997 was purely instrumental. Two of those songs even got played on local campus radio back then, it felt almost unreal at that time. The front cover shows a photo that was casually taken at a lovely castle near Hattingen called Isenburg, a place I used to love back then.'Today', 'Diamond', 'Safe', 'Get Up You're Free'...Those 4 songs live on as slightly rewritten and fully rearranged studio versions from a mature point of view on my latest album "A Gentle Reminder", with all the bells and whistles I could only dream of back then... 🎧 www.slowtide.com/a-gentle-reminder/ ... It was recorded with little to no equipment, but filled with the heart of an introverted yet striving teenager in his final days of school trying to make sense of life and love. This actually marked the first time I recorded my voice on my small multitrack-recorder for the public ear to hear, since the album London from 1997 was purely instrumental. Two of those songs even got played on local campus radio back then, it felt almost unreal at that time.

The front cover shows a photo that was casually taken at a lovely castle near Hattingen called Isenburg, a place I used to love back then.

Today, Diamond, Safe, Get Up Youre Free...

Those 4 songs live on as slightly rewritten and fully rearranged studio versions from a mature point of view on my latest album A Gentle Reminder, with all the bells and whistles I could only dream of back then...
